GNDEC, I had heard, was a respected name and it was just my fortune that pulled me into the campus. Well, I may better call it my luck or whatever; it is the cool and quiet ambience was the 1st thing that struck me about the campus. The lush green surroundings with so many bikes, Royal Enfields, Cars and Rally Jeeps parked in lawns, birds chirping around, in tune with the low sounding hymns or what is called shabads … I found a heaven out there … so completely secluded from the hustle-bustle of the Ludhiana city, creating its own silent presence in the Gill Road, the place is nothing less than a temple.

Coming to points slightly materialistic, the college has everything of its own, be it evn a stationary shop, but frankly speaking, if I let my mind go slightly wild, this college is lacking a mall and that we Civil Engineers shall gift it. Anyways we are still searching for the perfect site inside the campus.

Now, speaking about teachers and staff. They are good, infact, very good and always ready to help us out. About the students, as far as I know them, they are OK. I just gotta discover them further. Complying with the rules of this college, we friends at times do find it difficult; mostly when we gotta bunk or whatever. Well I hope and I wish the teachers would sometime understand our problems that way. Anyway, now that I am going to stay in this college for the next four crucial years. I hope and I wish that this college instills in me so much of light that I shine out as the brightest star in the dark sky.
